Erection

From Liberty Place in Philadelphia to Trump's Taj Mahal in Atlantic City and beyond, Cornell has played a major role in shaping the future, specializing in the erection of structural steel and precast concrete, involved in the rehabilitation of bridge structures as a prime contractor, bridge fabrication and erection, and providing equipment for multistory buildings, bridges, waterfront and other industrial work. Familiar with every aspect of Tower Crane engineering technology and construction engineering, both steel and concrete, Cornell serves the national construction marketplace with state of the art systems engineering as an AISC Certified Erector.
In the early part of this century, Founder Charles Fredrick Cornell did his first bridge project. Since that time, Cornell has participated in many more bridge and highway projects - both new construction and rehab work. We've been involved in such major infrastructure projects as the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, the New Jersey Turnpike, the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Philadelphia's Schuylkill Expressway, London’s Canary Wharf, the Blue Route linking the Pennsylvania Turnpike with I-95 south of Philadelphia, and numerous highway and rail bridges in the Mid-Atlantic states. Cornell is currently working at the South Street Bridge and Girard Point Bridge in Philadelphia along with Bay Bridge in Annapolis, MD.
